Doneisha Brooks, 39, a Black woman, was found shot to death alongside her 8-year-old daughter, Olivia, and her cousin, 34-year-old Alonzo Hawkins, inside an apartment on the 300 block of Luther Drive in Georgetown, Texas, on the evening of Saturday, September 13, 2025. Officers arrived minutes after a 7:26 p.m. call and discovered all three had been shot multiple times. Investigators said early on that the crime did not appear random and that the victims likely knew the assailant.
