In the summer of 1979, the community of Paulsboro, New Jersey, was shaken by the discovery of a young woman's body. Minerva Hill, a 23-year-old African-American female, was found deceased on Sunday, June 10, 1979. Her body had been left in an open area near the Paulsboro water tower, close to the intersection of Berkley Road and Swedesboro Avenue.
