Anthony Lee Coonrod Jr., 63, a white man from Lorain, Ohio, was found dead late on Saturday, May 31, 2025, after police were called to check on a home in the 200 block of West 29th Street. Officers entered with a key provided by concerned relatives and discovered two people inside with apparent gunshot wounds: Anthony Lee Coonrod Jr., 63, and Emily Simmons, 30.
