On the evening of September 29, 2025, Sofia Torres, age 50, gender female, was found dead from gunshot wounds at a residence along the 6000 block of FM Highway 1122 in Silsbee, Texas. Deputies with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched around 5 p.m. to what was reported as a domestic situation; when they arrived, they discovered two adults deceased from gunshot wounds inside the property.
