In the late hours of a summer evening in Anderson, South Carolina, a series of events unfolded that would tragically end the life of 36-year-old Demone Devaux. On August 10, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., emergency services received a call about a man who had been shot on North Main Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Devaux lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. He was a Black male.
