Jarvis Perryman, 20, male, spent the first minutes of July 3, 2025 walking with friends through Euclid Beach Park on Cleveland’s lakefront when an encounter turned violent. Around 12:35–12:40 a.m., a man approached, words were exchanged, and the man pulled a handgun from a backpack and opened fire. Jarvis Perryman was struck and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead; a 17-year-old companion was also wounded but survived.
