In the quiet community of unincorporated Clackamas County, just outside of Portland, Oregon, a tragedy unfolded that would cut short the life of a young boy. Twelve-year-old Elios Renteria, a Hispanic male and a sixth-grade student at Hosford Middle School, was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound in the backyard of a home on Southeast Glen Echo Avenue on the morning of Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
