In the early morning hours of June 11, 2025, the community of Heavener, Oklahoma, was shaken by a violent incident that left a young man dead and a young woman fighting for her life. Twenty-year-old Dylan McGee, a male, was found deceased at the scene in an apartment on State Highway 128, having suffered from an apparent gunshot wound. Alongside him, a 21-year-old woman, later identified as Kelsey Strickland, was discovered with critical injuries.
