On January 25, 2011, at around 10:49 p.m., Timothy Bowden, age 26, was shot multiple times while walking in the 4700 block of Logan Avenue in San Diego, California. He had been returning to a friend's apartment after visiting a nearby grocery store when he was attacked. The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) responded to reports of gunshots in the area and found Bowden on the ground suffering from severe gunshot wounds.
