Melinda Green, 45, a White/Caucasian female, was found fatally wounded in her West 24th Street apartment in Lorain, Ohio, on Sunday morning, August 31, 2025. Police were dispatched around 6:45–7:00 a.m. for reports of an unresponsive woman and discovered her inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Lifecare Ambulance personnel attempted lifesaving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
