Marco Antonio Salazar Cano, a 62-year-old Hispanic man from Winston-Salem, was found shot on Tuesday night, August 19, 2025, on the 300 block of Gregory Street, near Salem Parkway and Peters Creek Parkway. Responding officers arrived around 9:59 p.m. and discovered the 62-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel rushed him to a local hospital, where the 62-year-old man later died from his injuries.
