Davion Boone, a 14-year-old Black/African American male, was shot in the head inside a home on the 4500 block of Walker Avenue in west Toledo just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Police and local coverage reported that he and a friend had been playing video games and then began handling a gun when it discharged, striking Davion.
