In the late afternoon of a summer day in Harlem, tragedy struck. On Monday, July 14, 2025, just before 5 p.m., 42-year-old Abede Fernandez, a resident of Flatbush, Brooklyn, was gunned down in front of 235 Lenox Ave., between West 121st and 122nd Streets.
