Ethnicity not publicly stated. On April 20, 2025, just after 2 a.m., 23-year-old male Oscar A. Bermejo-Garcia was found shot inside a home on the 500 block of Dean Drive SW, near 98th Street and Tower in southwest Albuquerque. Officers arriving at the scene discovered he had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead there, and detectives from the Albuquerque Police Department's Homicide Unit began working the case.
