Jesse Dalton Hensley, a 19-year-old White male from Farmington, New Mexico, died in the early hours of August 31, 2025, after gunfire erupted near East Murray Drive and Camina Entrada. Police said a group had gathered there shortly before 2 a.m. when an altercation escalated. During the confrontation, 15-year-old Lamar White produced a firearm and shot Jesse Dalton Hensley, who was unarmed. A third person at the scene was also struck and transported for non-life-threatening injuries.
