In a tragic and unsettling series of events, the life of 24-year-old Jeffrey Bolton was cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. On the afternoon of May 19, 2025, his body was discovered near Green Elementary School, located at 4600 Hillside Drive. The Hinds County Coroner, Jeramiah Howard, pronounced Bolton dead at the scene, the cause of death being a fatal gunshot wound. The incident, happening in broad daylight and in close proximity to a school, sent ripples of concern through the community.
