In the dim hours of May 22, 2025, Baton Rouge police were called to the Avalon Apartments at 13047 Florida Boulevard, where Kevin Jackson, age 26 and male, was found mortally wounded alongside a second victim who was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
