On the night of June 24, 2025, in New Orleans' Seventh Ward, Black male, Joseph Lee, male, 26, was shot in the 2400 block of Pauger Street a little after 10:15 p.m. He was rushed to a hospital by private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The Orleans Parish Coroner later identified the victim as Joseph Michael Lee Sr., confirming the date and place of his death.
