On a Tuesday night in New Orleans, June 24, 2025, the life of Joseph Michael Lee Sr., a 26-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. In the 7th Ward, on the 2400 block of Pauger Street, gunfire erupted shortly after 10:15 p.m., leaving Lee with fatal injuries. He was privately transported to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead. The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office later officially identified him as the victim.
