In the early hours of June 1, 2025, a large party at a residence on Centreville Road in Queenstown, Maryland, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 19-year-old Christopher David Parsley, III. Gunfire erupted at approximately 1:15 a.m., sending partygoers fleeing and leaving three individuals with gunshot wounds. While a 28-year-old female and a 27-year-old male were transported to Baltimore Shock Trauma for their injuries, Parsley, a resident of Centreville, was pronounced
deceased at the scene.
Christopher, known to his friends as 'C.P.,' was a 2024 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School where he had become a certified carpenter. He was remembered as a devoted son, brother, and friend who loved being on the water, fishing, and spending time with friends around a bonfire. He was employed as a waterman and also worked at Waterfront Marine in Edgewater. Witnesses reported that the shooting began after a group of uninvited individuals arrived at the party and were asked to leave. In the ensuing chaos, most attendees, including the person or persons responsible for the shooting, fled the area.
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, launched an extensive investigation into the homicide. Their efforts led to the arrests of three suspects on October 8, 2025. The individuals taken into custody were 19-year-old Kamryn Andrews of Seaford, Delaware; 20-year-old James Lawson of Queenstown, Maryland; and 27-year-old Travis Lissau of Centreville, Maryland.
Following a presentation of the evidence to a Queen Anne's County Grand Jury, indictments were returned, and arrest warrants were issued on October 6, 2025. The three men face a range of serious charges. Kamryn Andrews is charged with attempted second-degree murder, manslaughter, assault, and multiple firearm-related offenses. James Lawson faces similar charges, along with conspiracy to alter physical evidence. Travis Lissau's charges also include attempted second-degree murder, manslaughter, multiple assault charges, and firearm-related offenses. All three men were being held without bond as the investigation into Christopher Parsley's death remains ongoing.
