On the night of June 19, 2025, Michael Jordon Thompson, 36, male, was shot outside a closed business along the 12000 block of Laurel-Bowie Road in the unincorporated part of Laurel. Officers responded around 9 p.m. and found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near the shuttered storefronts by the Old Glory Harley-Davidson dealership.
