A man is found dead off the Mount Rose Highway in Reno
On December 1, 1979, the body of 26-year-old Michael Whitten was discovered in a secluded area off Mount Rose Highway, just south of Reno, Nevada. Whitten, who was described as a transient, was found in a location that added a layer of complexity to the ensuing investigation.
