Jason Campos, 46, was found shot at his family's home on East Buchanan Road in Ferry Township, near Shelby in Oceana County, on the morning of August 14, 2025. Deputies with the Oceana County Sheriff's Office responded and identified him at the scene; he later died of his injuries. Public reports and memorial notices identified him as a White/Caucasian male from the Shelby/Howell, Michigan community.
