On the evening of May 24, 2025, Walter Marcus Wilkins, a 36-year-old Black/African American male from Quincy, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in Boston. The incident occurred around 9:46 p.m. on Franklin Hill Avenue in the Dorchester neighborhood, where gunfire erupted, leaving two men with life-threatening injuries. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene following a ShotSpotter activation.
