In the early morning hours of August 18, 1986, the quiet of a Las Vegas alley was shattered by the discovery of a grim scene. A man out for a morning jog happened upon a Whittlesea cab, its engine silent, parked in the alley south of Salton Avenue. Inside, the jogger found the lifeless body of the driver, 29-year-old Paul Vincent Leonardo, a Caucasian male.
