On a warm evening in Las Vegas, 56-year-old Caucasian male Richard L. Robinson pulled his 1995 Chevrolet pick-up truck into the south parking lot of the Silverton Casino on June 5, 1999. As he was getting out of his vehicle, he was unexpectedly approached by an armed individual. The suspect demanded Robinson's truck at gunpoint, and in the course of the confrontation, something went tragically wrong.
