Hispanic woman Veronica Quevedo Torres, age 51, died in a late-night shooting on May 17, 2025, at a residence on Baxter Durrence Road just outside Glennville in Tattnall County, Georgia. Deputies were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. after a 911 call reported gunfire; inside the home, authorities found four people deceased in what they described as an apparent murder-suicide.
