In the early morning hours of May 25, 2025, a tragedy unfolded within the walls of a Warner Robins, Georgia, apartment that claimed the lives of a mother and daughter. Virginia Boston, a 49-year-old Black female, and her 29-year-old daughter, Re'Dashia Boston, were found deceased in their home in what was determined by authorities to be a double homicide. The grim discovery was made at The Pines of Warner Robins apartment complex on Woodland Trail, shattering the peace of the community.
The alarm was raised when Re'Dashia's five-year-old son found his mother and grandmother and alerted a neighbor, who then promptly called 911. Houston County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene around 6:30 a.m. and confirmed the two women were dead. Their bodies were later sent to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsies, though initial reports indicated they had been shot. Family members described Virginia as a calm, sweet, and nurturing woman who loved to read and was a doting mother and grandmother. Her daughter, Re'Dashia, was pursuing a career in nursing while raising her young son.
A swift investigation led authorities to identify a person of interest: 29-year-old Rashad Williams of Cordele, who was in a relationship with Re'Dashia. A multi-agency search involving the Houston County Sheriff's Office, along with assistance from Crisp and Worth County deputies, was launched. Williams was located and apprehended without incident that same afternoon, around 4:00 p.m., hiding in an abandoned farmhouse in the town of Warwick. He was taken into custody and has since been charged with two counts of murder.
According to grieving family members, the homicides were the culmination of a domestic violence situation. Williams was reportedly Re'Dashia's boyfriend, and she had been trying to end their relationship. The case has been described by authorities as another isolated incident of domestic violence. In the wake of the devastating loss, Virginia's surviving daughter, Nomeil Tucker, is now focused on gaining custody of her young nephew, who was left without his mother and grandmother.
