In a quiet Warner Robins, Georgia neighborhood, a grim discovery was made on the evening of Wednesday, June 25, 2025, that left the community in shock. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hillcrest Avenue for a welfare check after receiving a 911 hang-up call around 6:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, they uncovered a heart-wrenching scene that pointed to a murder-suicide.
Inside the home, authorities found 80-year-old Judy Moll deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Her husband, 88-year-old Robert Moll, was found in the backyard, also deceased from a gunshot wound. The Warner Robins Police Department's investigation led them to believe that Robert Moll shot and killed his wife before taking his own life.
Neighbors described the couple as very nice and clean people who cared for their neighborhood. They were stunned by the violent turn of events in what they considered a peaceful and tight-knit community. It was also mentioned by neighbors that the couple had been dealing with serious health issues, and hospice nurses were frequent visitors to the home. The incident marked the 11th homicide in Houston County for the year, with a significant number being linked to domestic violence.
