On June 5, 2025, in East Los Angeles, Joshua Ledesma, 30, a male of Latino ethnicity, was shot in a residential driveway on the 500 block of Bradshaw Avenue, less than a block from Eastmont Intermediate School just hours after its graduation ceremony. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded around 12:30 p.m. and found Joshua Ledesma, 30, male, gravely wounded in the driveway; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
