On the night of April 30, 2026, the life of 48-year-old Robbie Vivas, a Latino male, was tragically cut short on a sidewalk in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at approximately 11:10 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth and Crocker streets. Upon arrival, they found Vivas suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.
