Keilan Ray Denwitty, 17, a male who was Black/African American, was identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as the teenager shot in east Bakersfield in the early hours of June 22, 2025. According to officials, Keilan Ray Denwitty was wounded around 12:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Pesante Road, then taken to Kern Medical, where he later died.
