In the predawn hours of August 3, 2025, Jeremiah R. Adtutubofah, age 28 and male, was found shot to death in Harvey, Illinois, his life ending within a day of the gunfire that had already shaken the city. Authorities said the killing appeared linked to the chaos of a house party the night before, when two gunmen arrived and opened fire into a crowd, wounding several people including a four-year-old boy.
