On the evening of July 8, 2025, 19-year-old Tristan Tomak Trevino, a Hispanic/Latino male, traveled to the Haven Apartments in Hobart, Indiana, for what would be a fatal encounter. At approximately 5:07 p.m., Hobart Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Ruta Drive following reports of a disturbance involving a firearm.
