Doug White, 33, a male from West Pensacola who was Black/African American, was found with an apparent gunshot wound on the morning of May 19, 2025. Deputies discovered the body around 6:30 a.m. on Citrus Street, near the intersection with Anthony Street, and investigators noted there was no weapon found nearby. Family and friends identified the victim as Doug White, 33, and a small memorial of balloons, flowers, and candles began to grow at the scene as word spread through the neighborhood.
