Darien Lamont Henry, 25, a Black man from Brandon, Florida, was shot after an argument in the breezeway of the Cypress Trace apartments on the 700 block of Providence Trace Circle around 7:05 p.m. on June 1, 2025. During the confrontation, he was hit in the upper body and rushed to Brandon Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
