Bidan Mburu, a 22-year-old Kenyan man, was tragically killed on the evening of September 16, 2025, in Greenwood, Indiana. He was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a domestic dispute. Mburu was returning home from work to his apartment at the Westminster Apartments when he was struck in the head by a stray bullet. The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Dover Drive. Bystanders rushed him to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
