On Friday, June 27, 2025, at about 4:30 p.m., Boynton Beach police and U.S. Marshals located Daniels near train tracks in the 1300 block of Northwest 17th Avenue in Delray Beach. He was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Because the suspect died by suicide before capture, there were no arrests in the case.
