In the late summer of 2025, a tragedy unfolded in Warner Robins, Georgia, forever altering the lives of a local family. Jermaine Lee Jr., a 24-year-old male, was killed in what law enforcement officials have described as a devastating act of family violence. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025, also claimed the life of his 22-year-old sister, Shyianna Lee.
The violence erupted at the Bradford Place apartment complex, a gated community off of Watson Boulevard.
Investigators have determined that the siblings were victims of a double homicide-suicide. Family members have stated that the shooter was in a relationship with Shyianna. After killing both Jermaine and his sister, the gunman then took his own life. The Warner Robins Police Department has confirmed that the incident was isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Jermaine, affectionately known as 'Muff,' was a 2019 graduate of Perry High School and had earned a degree in Tractor Trailer Operations from South Georgia Technical College. At the time of his death, he was employed with Daniels Transport. He was a father to two young children. The funeral for Jermaine and his sister was held the following Saturday at Magnolia Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia.
