Brandy Smith, 45, a Middleburg, Florida mother, was shot to death in her home in the early minutes of August 4, 2025. Brandy Smith, 45, female, Black/African American, was found alongside her partner David Lee, 44, after deputies with the Clay County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence near Silver Point and County Road 220. The discovery followed a 911 call placed from a nearby church just after midnight, in which a teenager said he had killed his parents.
