Brandon Stennett, a 36-year-old male of Black/African American ethnicity, was shot before dawn on August 5, 2025, in Los Angeles’ Westlake district near MacArthur Park. Shortly after 3 a.m., Los Angeles police officers from the Rampart Division responded to reports of gunfire at Wilshire Boulevard and Westlake Avenue and found Brandon Stennett lying near the intersection.
