On November 2, 2021, 31-year-old Jerome T. "Romo" Lucero was found deceased in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Early that morning, an employee cleaning the parking lot of a strip mall near Central Avenue and Atrisco Drive discovered Lucero's body. Upon attempting to wake him, the employee realized Lucero had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
