Umar Haqq, a 19-year-old Black male, was found fatally wounded late on Saturday, September 20, 2025, after gunfire erupted at the Ashton Apartments on Harris Trail Road in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Richmond Hill police were dispatched around 10 p.m. and discovered Haqq and 18-year-old James Wallace of Savannah with gunshot wounds; both were pronounced dead at the scene.
