On a warm Saturday evening in Richmond Hill, Georgia, on September 20, 2025, the life of 19-year-old Umar Haqq was tragically cut short. Gunfire erupted at the Ashton Apartment Complex on Harris Trail Road, leaving a scene of violence and loss. When officers from the Richmond Hill Police Department arrived at approximately 10:00 p.m., they discovered Mr. Haqq and another young man, 18-year-old James Wallace of Savannah, both suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
