James Wallace, 18, a male from Savannah, was shot to death on the night of September 20, 2025, at the Ashton Apartment Complex on Harris Trail Road in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. for reports of gunfire and found James Wallace, 18, and another victim, Umar Haqq, 19, with gunshot wounds; both were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person had also been shot and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
