In the quiet community of Richmond Hill, Georgia, the life of 18-year-old James Wallace was tragically cut short on the night of Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was a young man described as respectful, humble, and quiet, who worked as a cart attendant at Sam's Club and had attended Jenkins High School.
On that fateful evening, law enforcement responded to a shooting at the Ashton Apartment Complex on Harris Trail Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered James Wallace and 19-year-old Umar Haqq, both of whom had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
