On the evening of August 6, 2025, in the quiet Highpoint Mobile Home Park in Frederica, Delaware, a welfare check led to a grim discovery that shattered the community's sense of peace. Responding to a call just before 11 p.m., Delaware State Police troopers entered a residence on Lorna Drive to find a tragic scene. Inside, they found 81-year-old Linda Hyman, a Caucasian female, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
