Lysandra "Sandy" C. Bowers, a 40-year-old White/Caucasian female from Frederica, Delaware, died on February 22, 2020, after she and her husband, Kenneth J. Bowers, were found shot in the parking lot area off Cooper Avenue near Bowers Beach. Delaware State Police were called to the area at about 4:04 p.m. that Saturday afternoon, where troopers found both Sandy and Kenneth dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds.
