Lysandra “Sandy” C. Bowers, 40, a White female, was found with fatal gunshot wounds alongside her husband, 55-year-old Kenneth J. Bowers, in the parking lot near Bowers Beach off Cooper Avenue in Frederica on the afternoon of February 22, 2020. Troopers were dispatched at approximately 4:04 p.m.; both were pronounced dead at the scene and their remains were turned over to the Division of Forensic Science for autopsies to determine the precise manner and cause of death.
