On the evening of June 14, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, a violent altercation tragically cut short the life of 34-year-old Olivaz Tomas Cruz. The incident occurred around 8:47 p.m. in the area of 15th Avenue and Woodland Avenue, where an argument escalated to the point of gunfire. Cruz was found by responding officers with at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but tragically, he did not survive.
