Death by Force

Cortney Lester Butts, 31, male, Black, was shot on the morning of December 15, 2007, after neighbors reported a burst of gunfire around 10:25 a.m. near 1065 Lisbon in Las Vegas. Responding officers found him on the sidewalk in the courtyard just north of apartment #4. He had been struck multiple times and was rushed to Sunrise Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
