Keith Arthur Klingbeil, a 23-year-old white male, was tragically murdered on July 6, 1978, in Mission Viejo, Orange County, California. His body was discovered on the northbound lane of the San Diego Freeway, just south of La Paz Road. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly disturbing: his body had been thrown from a moving vehicle, indicating a callous disregard for human life and a deliberate attempt to dispose of the victim in a public and dangerous manner.
