LeAnna Owen, a 71-year-old White female, was a beloved member of her community, known for her warm smile and energetic spirit. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she found immense joy in being a part of the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies, a troupe she had been with for 12 years. She was so committed that she never missed a practice and considered her fellow dancers to be like sisters, traveling with them across Wisconsin to perform in as many as 25 parades a year.
