Barbara Joan McDonald Moorman, a 22-year-old white female from Irving, Texas, was tragically found deceased on February 9, 1971, in Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas. She was discovered lying near a roadside, exhibiting signs of strangulation and a cut wound on the left side of her neck.
At the time of her death, Barbara was employed as a nurse's aide at St. Paul Hospital in Texas. She was married to Garry Lee Moorman and was the mother of a young daughter, Trisha Gail Moorman.
